The Wayzata Bay Suite is the largest suite at Hotel Excelsior. The Suite offers an enclosed bedroom with king sized bed with luxury bedding. Relax in comfort in a full living room setting with pull out couch (arriving end of June 2021). Enjoy your full kitchen with eat-in bar, induction cooktops, full oven, full refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and Keurig coffee. The bathroom features in-floor heat, instant hot water, and a curbless shower and is ADA compliant. Both the living area and bedroom feature 55-inch 4K TVs, cable service, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. For your health and safety all rooms: have private heating and cooling systems (no intra-unit air exchange); are sanitized and disinfected to CDC cleaning guidelines; have state-of-the-art digital door code locking systems. Additionally, the common area is equipped with security cameras.

Want to spend time on the trails? Trailer parking and trail access right outside your door. Close to State Parks, restaurants, shops & other attractions. Suites feature a king or queen bed, AC, full bath, mini fridge, microwave, WiFi, Netflix & YouTubeTV on a 49” screen. Self-check in is a breeze with keypads.

Root River Inn, Whalan En Suite

This room, named after the smallest town on the Root River Trail, is our smallest room. Perfect if you just plan to sleep here an be out enjoying the day. There is a bench and a stool in the room. This room has a window overlooking main street. You can see the bike trail and the bridge from your room. Recline in your queen bed and watch the Roku TV where you can watch many free channels or log into your own services. This room has the sink in the room and toilet and shower in the bathroom.

Loon Nest - Feather Nest Inn

Room #4 in The Feather Nest Inn! The motel is sustainably minded including eco friendly linens & toiletries! This space includes a bedroom with a queen bed, a one-person futon in the living space, and an adult size folding mattress in the closet. Fully equipped kitchen-from utensils to pots and pans. Cozy and comfortable. Well behaved pets allowed (with $35/ pet fee & signed agreement which will be in the room) Please be aware these are shared-wall units and noise does travel between spaces

Afton House Inn Room 9-Suite

Come and Relax and Enjoy this beautiful suite. This room can accommodate up to 4 guests. Includes King Bed and a Trundle Bed. Fireplace and Waterfall Jacuzzi for two. Bathroom has 2 sinks, 2 toilets and a shower. Enjoy Breakfast each morning in our breakfast room. Property has a Fine dining restaurant, Casual Bar restaurant with outdoor Patio and also a Wine Bar with outside patio and dining. Enjoy the quaint town of Afton and the beautiful St. Croix River.

Historic Inn, Room with Private Bath, Gregg Room

Historic home built in 1898 for the Gregg Family. Jesse Gregg was a prominent iron merchant and had this big beautiful brick home built for his family by the notable architect Clarence Johnston. The Gregg room is the original master bedroom of the home, with private en-suite bathroom. Bathroom has antique clawfoot tub with hand shower combo. The room has a queen bed and nice views of the neighborhood.

Room #3 (2 Queen Beds)

Room #3 at Crosby Lofts is a west-facing room with two large windows. This room features two queen beds and can sleep up to 4 adults. Amenities feature heat, AC, satellite TV, free WiFi, linens, private bathroom, hair dryer, bathroom essentials, coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, free parking and shared rooftop deck access. We also have free bike storage space with lockers in the Red Shed.

Balcony Guest Room

Enjoy our well-appointed neighborhood-view Balcony Guest Room. Second floor room with stair access only. These rooms feature a queen bed, pullout twin sofa sleeper, private balcony, desk, and 43" smart TV with premium cable channels. Bathroom with shower/tub combination. Complimentary continental breakfast in our lobby each morning. These rooms do not have a water view.
