The Dome Home

We are nestled in the heart of apple country surrounded by orchards and only 10 minutes from Pine Grove Furnace State Park and 25 minutes from Gettysburg. Our Dome Home is unique and cozy with all the comforts of home. Enjoy the sounds of nature as you disconnect from the busyness of the world relaxing on the back deck. Our recently remodeled home has plenty of kitchen space and utensils to cook most any meal and is fully furnished. Two full baths with towels provided and WIFI is available.

Off the beaten path but close to it all, including historic Gettysburg, the Appalachian Trail, Caledonia State Park, and Michaux State Forest. Relax on a large screened-in porch, in the shade of our pines or on the banks of a mountain creek. Access your own streaming accounts through our TV/wifi. Great restaurants are nearby, or make use of our original 1950s efficiency kitchen and dine al fresco. You’re surrounded by wineries, farm markets and even a candy store. Charlie’s Place-Beautiful, quiet 2-bedroom cabin.

Our cabin is located on a private stoned road. Very quiet and remote location. Keep this in mind when booking. 25 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 40 minutes to Carlisle Fairgrounds. Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Caledonia State Park; many hiking, ATV and snow mobile trails. For those that enjoy skiing we are 30 minutes to Liberty Mountain in Fairfield and 50 minutes to Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry.
