In the village there is a local pub offering 'Day Fishing Licences' on the local river, a church and 'The House at Temple Sowerby' if you prefer some 'Fine Dining'. A short beautiful walk will bring you to 'Acorn Bank' National Trust House, with spectacular walks along the river and a tea room.

The Bothy is a small snug barn conversion adjoining our home close to Ullswater The living accommodation on the ground floor is open plan and has green electric heating and a wood burning stove in a sandstone inglenook, a wooden staircase leads to a bedroom with ensuite facilities. Eden Valley hideaway - edge of the Lake District

Accommodation provided in delightful character house in Morland near Penrith. The Eden Valley is a charming unspolit part of Cumbria but only 20 minutes from Ullswater. Private annexe, with separate entrance, small kitchen, sitting room with TV. Downstairs toilet. Private outside patio with table and chairs. Facilities to cook simple meals. Tea, coffee and milk provided. It is important to note the bedroom is en-suite but with access through the main house.
