The 1250 sqft suite is the entire 2nd floor of my home. It is accessed by its own staircase and balcony. A 3-mile hiking trail takes you to 5500 ft. Our home has wifi, providing a variety of streaming options on the TV as well as a DVD player. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, a hand mixer, toaster, coffee maker, even a salad spinner!

Schooner Lake Vacation Rental

This lake front rental is located off the Glenn Highway, nestled in the small community of Nelchina, on Schooner Lake (45 miles outside of Glennallen). Although techincally only one bedroom, this place offers a spacious 800 sq. feet of open living space on one story and provides spectacular views of the Chugach Mountains from the South facing windows. The location of the rental makes for a great home base to travel, as it is centerally located between Anchorage and Valdez.

The Johnson House Cottage

The cottage is a secluded guesthouse in a friendly neighborhood with spectacular views of the Knik Glacier and river. This retreat has room for up to four guests. It is an open floor plan with a double bed on the ground floor and twin beds in an upstairs loft. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave. Propane BBQ on the deck and bathroom with a shower. Our cottage is not visible from the parking area so self check-in is not an option.

Inside, you'll find 1 queen bed, 2 bunks with foam mattresses, hammock, sleeping bags, pillows, heater, keurig coffee maker, hot water kettle and microwave. Features include room-darkening shades. Although we provide 4 bottles of drinking water we recommend to bring your own. Our dry cabins offer convenient outhouses, a fire ring with bbq crate and a picnic table outside.
