Acorn Barn a unique former cow house

Get away from it all with a cosy stay in a unique little barn conversion on a small holding with poultry, sheep and pigs. Acorn Barn sits at the end of its own driveway across a field set above a small CAMC 5cl. At night you may hear owls in the valley and the usual country noises by day from nearby working farms although the barn itself is double glazed and previous guests haven’t found any noises intrusive. You can see the railway line and look down on the duck pond and watch the poultry.

Come and stay in our idyllic yurt situated on a working sheep farm near the beautiful beaches of North Cornwall. Ideal for a romantic break or a family holiday the authentic, Mongolian yurt has a Super King size bed and a double futon, wool insulation and a wood burner. Beside the yurt is an ancient cob cottage housing a kitchen and shower room/wc. The yurt is set up for two adults, but can accommodate four people. Children stay for free, additional adults are charged a fee (see below).

Carriage House is a spacious property in the middle of a working farm. Separate kitchen and sitting area with private garden and use of a field. Trefronick Farm has a beef herd and sheep flock and we have a dairy farm next door milking channel island cows. 5 miles from nearest beach (Perranporth) & 5 miles from Truro. It is very close to the A30 making Penzance in the west, and the Eden Project to the East both just over 30 minutes. A well behaved dog is welcome.

The Annexe at Hillcrest

Enjoy a comfortable stay in our holiday annexe, located on the outskirts of Truro—ideal for exploring both the city and the Cornish coastlines. Attached to our Cornish cottage, the annexe sleeps up to four guests and has private front and rear entrances along with off-road parking. The property is just off the B3284, a busy road offering easy access to nearby towns, beaches, coastal walks and other local attractions. Please note that traffic noise can be heard.
