Veldflora Country Cottages Hoopoe cottage is nestled high on the last ridge of the Witwatersrand with a scenic view of the Magaliesberg range, 16 kilometers away from the village. The cottage is set in interesting indigenous and endemic flora. We are not accepting pets, but have four dogs roaming the property. The Cradle of humankind museum is close by, and other activities near by include horse riding and quad biking. Walking and bird watching are very popular, and so is the large pool.
