Built in 1922 by the son of a Civil War Veteran, this 2 bd/ 1b cottage with a large wrap around porch sits on almost 1.5 acres in the middle of the city. During the restoration we found letters and Vicksburg artifacts that are displayed throughout the home. Beautiful waterfront lake home located on Poverty Point Reservoir. Our home is located near Poverty Point State Park, Black Bear Golf Course, and Poverty Point World Heritage Site. Poverty Point Marina is located 1/2 mile north of the house. Wild Country Safari is located just a few miles north of the house and is a fun experience to enjoy with your kids. We have two docks for fishing and swimming. Relax and enjoy the sun rises and sunsets on beautiful Poverty Point Reservoir.
