A three minute walk to Summerville's km long white sand beach and the Quarterdeck Restaurant! Warm and welcoming, this cottage boasts modern conveniences while retaining the beachy charm of a little hideaway cottage, and is ideal for small families, a couple (or two), or solo adventurers. Enjoy the fire pit next to our babbling brook, or take a short drive to White Point Beach Resort for surfing or golf, beautiful Carters beach, or the Keji Seaside Adjunct for a scenic hike and seal watching.

Newly built in 2021 as a place to hideaway in nature. Set on a private wooded 9 acre lot with lake access to Powers Pond. We have two Kayaks available for use. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

Nestled privately off the road, the cabin offers beautiful views of the Historic Medway River in a tranquil nature setting. Watch the tide come in and out from the large deck, or venture out into the many trails nearby on the electric bikes. This space encourages both adventure and relaxation, and will be sure to bring you and yours closer.

Ideal for families, couples, or friends, the cottage features a king bed in the loft, a queen bedroom on the main level, a wood-burning stove, full kitchen, and private deck with BBQ. Surrounded by 4000 square feet of deck and equipped with a large heated pool and a hot tub and a private panoramic dome sauna, this peaceful secluded retreat is the perfect base to explore the best beaches in Nova Scotia or simply get away from it all.Please note that the heated pool is only operational from mid October l -to mid November.
