Hi and welcome to Moriston River Cottages. Trinity Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. To ensure comfort and make sure everything needed is included, we've stayed in Trinity ourselves and we loved every minute. Trinity is located with a great view of Moriston River and 5 min from Loch Ness. We found sleeping to the sound of the river very therapeutic! Sitting outside or viewing the river from inside Trinity was spectacular. The King size beds were both very comfortable as well as the bedding.

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

This well equipped cottage, situated in its own wooded grounds is perfect to cosy in by the log burning stove or sit out and gaze at the stars. There are numerous walking and mountain biking routes direct from the door, paddle board in loch Laggan or maybe some wild swimming in the nearby Pattack river. The cottage is the perfect base to explore east or west highlands.

It boasts views of Loch Mhor and the Monadhliath Mountains which can be enjoyed from the comforts of the sofa and woodburning stove if the temperamental Scottish weather is up to its old tricks! Steeped in history the local area offers numerous opportunities to delve into Scotland's past by visiting such sites as Culloden Moor, Clava Cairns and the many castles and brochs.
