The lodge is surrounded by some of the best scenery Scotland has to offer. The perfect base to explore Loch Ness, Isle of Skye, Cairngorms National Park, Glenfinnan viaduct (Harry Potter Hogwarts Express) Glencoe and Glen Etive. Ideally located at the start of the North Coast 500 (NC500), just 23 miles north of Inverness, and a short distance between Evanton and Alness, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Scottish highlands Located between the Inverness- Wick railway line and the B817 (the old A9), it’s perfect for walking, canoeing, and fishing, or just relaxing.

Enjoy pure tranquillity at Per Mare Per Terram

Per Mare Per Terram is a cosy cabin that boasts breath taking views of Loch Broom and the surrounding Munros. Standing alone at the top of Braes in Ullapool it has a wonderful cosy feeling when wrapped up inside, offering out of the way tranquillity whilst still being able to enjoy the amazing scenery no matter what the weather conditions. The cabin is equipped with a fridge, microwave,kettle, toaster and excellent wi-fi. It also has a shower room and modern composting toilet.

Forester's Bothy, cosy studio.

This newly built, open plan studio has a woodburning stove, great views and is ideally suited for exploration of Loch Ness, NC500 and the hills, glens and beaches of north Scotland. The hosts live next door, but the studio has its own private garden area and plenty of parking. There are lovely walks from the door through fields and forest, and a chance to see the Northern Lights. The cabin is in a peaceful rural setting, but only 12 miles from the city of Inverness.

A good base to tour the Highlands including NC 500 destinations. Hill walking, mountain biking available locally. The deck provides a secluded place to savour the peace of the Scottish Highlands . 2 single or 1 double bed available in each bedroom.
