Visit Cwm Rhaeadr Forest/Lyn Brianne Dam/Reservoir/Y Bannau Brycheiniog park & iconic Pen Y Fan.

Meadow Cottage is a welcoming, cosy two bedroomed retreat raised from the ruin of a Welsh longhouse. It nestles in a beautiful valley flanked by trees and hills and is the perfect place for a relaxing break. As you approach the property along the narrow country lane, be prepared to fall into the embrace of this peaceful and tranquil location. The cottage is well equipped and has a pretty garden surrounded by fields and woodland with a patio for alfresco dining or just being at one with nature.

Located between the Brecon Beacons and Cambrian Mountains, you will be within touching distance of some of Wales’s most iconic landscapes, including the Celtic rainforest at RSPB Dinas. It is perfectly located for walkers, cyclists, naturalists and stargazers!

It dates from the sixteenth century and is a self-contained part of a larger property where the owner lives. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families & kids, and furry friends (Two well-behaved pets only).

Table tennis is in the garden in the summer. The apartment really 'gives you a hug - or a 'cwtsch' as we say in Wales.
