Set in the Aeron Valley just outside the village of Dihewyd, Nantygwynfan is a family farm that has been lovingly converted into two lets for people to enjoy. Full of character and features, the COTTAGE combines the old and new perfectly so you have a truly comfortable stay including use of a new hot tub. There is plenty nearby to explore; from the many footpaths that can be accessed close by to Ceredigion's Heritage Coast and it's only 6 miles from the picturesque, Georgian town of Aberaeron.

Situated between Aberystwyth and the beautiful harbour town of Aberaeron with its colourful Georgian houses. Dairy cottage is in the forest, on a 1.3 acre garden and we live nearby. This peaceful very rural location down little country lanes is 1000ft above sea level. The cottage is 100% pet friendly. The garden is fenced and completely private. It has a patio area with a table and seating with a BBQ/fire pit. The area is renowned for its peace and tranquility offering a quiet, relaxing break with all the mod cons. Beaches within 40 mins and local shop 15mins away. Main shopping centre 30mins away.

A separate downstairs lounge contains the original oven/stove and has a large window seat providing beautiful views across the valley. Aberdar is perfect for getting away from it all and provides a great base for walking, bird watching or exploring the picturesque counties of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.

Wildernest - Ty Twt

Ty Twt - neat and cosy - is part of Wildernest, a haven set in the coastal hills above the delightful Aeron Valley. Sleeping is in the croglofft, above the kitchen-living space, with the 2nd bedroom and the shower room at ground level; underfloor heating and log burner. It can sleep 4 but we say 3 people comfortably. Hence, there's no charge for a fourth person. If you need the second bed to be made up please enter 3 (or 4) guests.

Welcome to our lovely character filled cottage ‘Y Bwthyn’ situated between New Quay and Aberaeron. It provides an ideal base to explore beautiful Cardigan Bay and the Ceredigion beaches. We’re less than a mile from Cei Bach and Traeth Gwyn beaches and half a mile from the Welsh Coastal Path so it truly is a walker’s paradise. You can even walk along the beach to New Quay at low tide.
