The kitchen is equipped (no dishwasher). Dining room seats 6. Living room with Roku TV and Wi-Fi. Bring your jet skis, boat, and fishing equipment. Public boat launch 2 miles & a large park nearby. The house was built by the Kelsey family in the 1930s after seeing the house featured in the 1933 Chicago World's Fair and has been completely renovated. Views of the lake from almost every room. During the warmer weather months (May-October), guests also get FREE & exclusive use of a pontoon boat, 2 kayaks, paddle boat and private dock on the property. Swan Cottage is very dog-loving & dog-welcoming home. The yard is not fenced, but we do provide ground stakes & cable ties.

The cottage can be enjoyed throughout all of the seasons of Michigan. As fall approaches, note the state hunting land is just a 100 yard walk. The interior is a blend of rustic cozy meets modern touches. This is a home and not a hotel so you will find quirks that belong to any individual home.

Nice patio out back with covered area to grill out. Walking distance to the North Country Trail and 10 min from the new Dragon trail. There is one queen bed and a couch. It will comfortably sleep two guest.

Close to 131 highway, Hardy Dam, Dragon Trail, restaurants and more. We live on site, but our home is completely separate from guest house.
