Per the Effingham Water Authority short-term rental ordinance, maximum occupancy is 2 adults (aged 21 and older) per bedroom, with a maximum of 8 adults. This is a 5-bedroom home, so additional guests above 8 adults must be children under the age of 21.

Rocky Springs Cabin became a home away from home for many beginning in 2013. We have now just joined Airbnb! You can also find us on Google. The cabin is just 10 minutes from Lake Shelbyville and is surrounded by the Hidden Springs State Forest! This cabin rental sets on 40 acres with a pond right outside the front door. It is surrounded by trees and walking trails. The pond has a variety of fish, including, Catfish, Bluegill, and Bass.

We have 2 electric fireplaces, 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms, futon & full size bed in living room that sleeps up to 7 total. It has a side covered porch with a seating area & table with chairs. Firepit area for roasting hotdogs or marshmallows. Firewood on premises. Propane grill on back patio. Small kids play area in back yard & 4pm check in with 10am checkout.

The Lake House is located just a short walk to Beach, Pinky’s , The Rusty Reel Bar (below Pinky’s) and The Marina. The beach offers a beautiful playground, pavilions and a frisbee golf course!
