Gergask Cottage, is a Traditional Stone Cottage, it's in the small rural village of Laggan, there are other properties around, so it's rural but not isolated. In the Cairngorms National Park, there is lots to do in the area - mountain biking at Laggan Wolftrax , walking on way marked trails, wildlife spotting, museums like the Highland Folk Museum , the excellent Highland Wildlife park just to name a few.
Close to the A9 and A86, this is the perfect place to stop and rest on your way to or from the north or west. This room offers a double bed and shared shower room with toilet. Just 3 miles south of Newtonmore, it is 20 mins from Aviemore and 45 mins from Fort William and Nevis Range. It is ideally located for the many outdoor activities that the Cairngorms National Park has to offer. We offer a breakfast of tea, coffee, cereal, toast and fruit juice. We can also provide a cot if needed.
Nestled in the Cairngorms National Park, The Steading (Scottish for converted Barn) was recently converted to a high standard.
