The house was built in the early 1920’s by a woman who did missionary work in Asia and was fascinated by the architecture. It is nestled at the foot of Country Club Drive in a quiet residential neighborhood and is very close to an excellent selection of bars and restaurants that are about a 10-20 minute walk away. The cottage features full amenities that include: Tempurpedic™ queen-size bed. Wi-Fi, Smart TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, wet bar, coffee maker, toaster, and iron. Window seat for sitting, reading or lounging. Private entrance and patio connecting to a courtyard and Japanese garden. Spacious bathroom with 12 foot high tiled shower. French doors open to a private sitting area. If the days are booked in the cottage we might have an opening at, Mikes House and Garden.

Set in the residential area fully furnished with kitchen, bath, and private entrance. The Studio is a light, bright place on the lower courtyard level of the house with an ocean breeze, close to La Jolla Cove, Shores, the Village, Shopping, Restaurants, and more. A short drive will take you to Pacific Beach, Mission Bay, Mission Beach, Ocean Beach, the famous San Diego Zoo, Old Town, SeaWorld, and Lego Land.

La Jolla studio, mile from beach

This studio rental is a mile uphill from the beach. The unit has three rooms — the main section with queen size bed, dining table and seating; the bathroom (shower); and kitchenette (refrigerator, two burner electric stove, coffee maker, toaster oven, air fryer, microwave, and electric juicer). Enjoy a glass of wine or fresh orange juice in the garden. Large yard and several patios (shared space).

The guest suite is great for working professionals, friends or a couple traveling together, and folks coming to La Jolla medical campus for appointments. Enjoy beautiful canyon views and spectacular sunsets. This suite is best suited for guests who plan to be out and about during the day, returning for rest and relaxation in the evenings.
