Our mid-terraced cottage sleeps up to five guests in its three well-presented bedrooms, one of which is en-suite. The heart of the home is its living room, complete with a multi-fuel stove which brings some extra cosiness in the colder months, or somewhere to dry your boots after a day in the fells. We have free parking for two cars on the driveway outside the house, and around the back is a shared garden with outdoor seating, ideal for al fresco dining when the sun is shining!

Nestled amidst stunning countryside in close proximity to both the Lake District and Pennines, this charming getaway offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts, with original timber beams, a wood-burning stove, and a private outdoor patio and lawn. The Barn can be booked along with The Byre next door for pairs of couples.

Ravendale @ Howscales, Kirkoswald, North Cumbria

Ravendale was created from what was the main barn, it is full of character with its distinctive arched facade with characterful oak beams on full display inside. On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, shower room, and bathroom with a separate shower. Upstairs is the well equipped kitchen and comfortable dining area together with a spacious lounge with a log burning stove. Ravendalehas been accredited 4 Star Gold by Visit England.
