This getaway is located in the secluded Texas hill country of Spring Branch, where the beautiful Spring Branch Creek intersects the Guadalupe River above Canyon Lake. We are 4 miles from the river and nearby the north Canyon Lake access. Nearby are 2 small spring fed creeks as well as many other small ponds and recreation areas. It is a short drive (25 min) to New Braunfels, about 35 min to the north side of San Antonio and an hour to the SW side of Austin.
Our cabin was built completely by us and is off grid, using solar panels for electricity (there is power at night), filtered rain water, wood stove for heat, and a composting toilet. It is situated amongst 37 acres in the Hill Country of Texas and is the perfect retreat into nature for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Our front and roof decks offer miles of view of the Hill Country, overlooking Blanco River Valley, and sunsets here are truly magical.
Located in Downtown Historic District.Historic use was a Sunday Haus. Close for Blanco events, shopping, swimming or picnics in the park and walk back to unwind before heading off for more activities or out to eat and enjoy live music.
