Centrally located, 1 mile from kasilof river, 17 miles south of Soldotna and 55 miles north of Homer. Cabin has security cameras on front and back of cabin,outside only. Host lives nextdoor.

It’s a private getaway just minutes from the Kasilof River!

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.

Tiny house sleeps 2, with 1 bedroom & 1 bath. This nautical-themed tiny home offers magnificent views of Cook Inlet, Twin Glaciers, Mt. Redoubt, Mt. Iliamna, and Mt. Spur, (all 3 are active volcanoes). You'll see an abundance of wildlife including Moose, Eagles, Beluga whales (seasonal), an occasional Bear and more. There is Large yard, picnic table and fire-pit to share. The Wheelhouse is ten minutes from downtown Kenai and the Kenai River.
