This is where the Northern Lights dance! The ‘Nursing Station’ is one of few original buildings in town - beautifully renovated with ra Scandinavian flair. Located by the river and the Frobisher Bay on one side - and endless tundra on the other. Great year round hiking- and skiing in winter. Only five minutes walk to the old Hudson Bay post and 10 minute drive to amenities like grocery stores, museum, restaurants, banks etc. Here you are safe and well protected - also when the blizzards roar.

Nursing Station - West Wing

Welcome to quiet and beautiful Apex, the original inuit settlement of Iqaluit. We have tundra at our doorstep and wilderness just across the street, great for hiking - and skiing in the winter. The old Nursing Station was built in 1955 and is one of the oldest buildings. It has endured every blizzard so far. Only 5 min. walk to the shore and the old Hudson Bay post. All necessary amenities are 8 minutes drive away, including museum, restaurants, movie theatre, grocery stores, e.c.
