West Plains School House

Relax in the School House, a rural setting 10 minutes from Invercargill city, is peaceful and modern with a touch old school charm. We home an array of farm animals, cows, sheep, and 2 friendly Kune Kune pigs who live their best life in the orchard. You are welcome to make use of our multi sport turf, tennis rackets and outdoor bowling kits are provided🙂 The Flat is attached to our home, the bedroom has a queen bed and the lounge has a double sofa bed. Tea/coffee/continental breakfast provided.

Tranquil Windsor Hideaway

Relax and put your feet up in this peaceful hideaway, down a back section in the heart of Windsor. A 5-minute walk from the shopping centre with a supermarket, pharmacy, boutique shops, pizzeria, fish and chips and cafes. A short stroll away is the Waihopai River Walkway, the beautiful Queens Park is a 10-minute walk away, and 10 minutes drive to the city centre. Please note the 2nd bed is a fold out couch (it is extra) and the guesthouse is beside our garage (so you may hear the garage door).

Local shops with takeaways, chemist, restaurant within 10 minutes walk. Truck Museum 4 minutes drive and Motorcycle Mecca around 8 minutes drive. Queens Park, a paradise of cool climate gardens & walkways, is nearby. Bluff is only a 20 minute drive away. 1 1/2 -2 hours drive from Queenstown, Te Anau, Central Otago.

We have 2 one bedroom units for rent they sit on 25 acres of farm land with beauitful views looking over bluff/Invercargill. 15 mins drive to Invercargill & 5 min drive to Bluff. You can rent one or both units the units has being newly built with double-glazing it is warm, sunny, clean & very quiet with everything you need for your stay. The units also come with room service every day, the units come with free complimentary continental breakfast, tea/coffee,water, milk, drink and biscuits.

We offer a seperate wing of the house with a guest only entrance, two luxury bedrooms, a vestibule and private bathroom with full amenities. Sparkling clean. Each room can accommodate two guests with a Queen sized bed in each room (up to 4 guests in total). When booking for 2 people, you are booking ONE room. If you require a room EACH, please modify your booking to 3 people. This discounts the second room.

Take a break and unwind here with sea views off the deck, approx 300mtrs to a beautiful safe sandy beach great for Surfers, SUPS or sunbathing with changing sheds and seats. A few more steps to the Beachhouse restaurant to dine while watching the waves. The chinese takeaway at Taramea Bay for a quick dinner after a day at the beach. Wander our walking tracks and native bush walks close by. A delightful village with little shops to browse, friendly pubs and cafes is the place to be.

This cosy self-contained unit is ideal for anyone who enjoys a quiet walk in the bush or a refreshing estuary walk with both virtually on your doorstep. With only two minutes walk to the hospital this is also an ideal base for visiting friends and family who may be unwell. With a separate bedroom and available portacot this space is ideal for families. You'll find a fully equipped kitchenette and private bathroom, as well as a dining table, TV, wifi and offstreet parking.

You have your own self contained unit with living, small kitchenette (toaster, kettle, microwave), two bedroom and bathroom. An outdoor patio looking out to the vegetable garden and lawn. Continental breakfast included. Portacot available on request. Family friendly. 5 min drive to Windsor, 10 min to city centre. Two parks within 5 min drive or 20 min walk.
