This self contained 1 bedroom annexe with king size bed + seperate lounge with portable air con unit/fans, sofa bed, extra spare bedding , washing machine, dryer, WIFI , short walk (15 minutes) to beautiful river and canal path walks, farmshop or local high street. The owners have 2 cocker spaniels so dont mind clients bringing one well behaved pet on holiday too. Basic Breakfast supplies will be provided too.

Our historic cottage is nestled on the side of the dramatic Shibden valley, famous as the home of Ann Lister, 'Gentleman Jack'. Bus stops are close by (for Huddersfield and Bradford) and there is easy access to the M62 (approximately 2 miles away). Taxis are available from Huddersfield train station.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!
