Waterford Greenway (46km cycle/ walk, can be done in whole or part) is a 10 min drive The beautiful Copper Coast with its beaches and coves are 30-35 mins drive. Our local country Pub is a 10 min walk and nearest village is a 10 min drive for any essentials.

If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

"Stable Cottage"

"Stable Cottage" is an old traditional style, converted stone barn, near our historic old farmhouse. It retains many original features such as the original old natural slated roof, old beams, pine boarded floors, exposed original stone walls etc. etc.. It is very quiet and peaceful, on a small working tillage farm. Originally, it was the stable where the horses were sheltered and fed for the winter months while the wheat, feed oats etc was stored on the loft overhead.

Hawes Barn - 200 Year Old Cottage

Set within the Croc An Oir Estate (translated as Crock of Gold) and tucked away down a leafy boreen, this beautifully restored, converted stone barn offers a truly relaxing holiday where hospitality and a traditional Irish experience is offered in abundance. Croc an Oir is a romantic retreat for a couple, and traditional features include a cosy woodburner, a half door, arched windows and a delightful loft style bedroom. There is also a private courtyard and garden.

Beautifully restored cottage located on a working farm in peaceful Kilkenny countryside between Mullinavat, Piltown and Mooncoin. We are within 30 minutes drive of Waterford, Kilkenny and Clonmel. Fantastic views and long quite walks are promised. A stones throw from the beautiful Curraghmore estate, Comeragh mountains with the spectacular Mahon Falls and Coumshingaun Lake and Slievenamon. The Deise Greenway and Copper Coast beaches are easily accessed nearby.
