This privately owned and luxurious cottage is located above Akureyri with amazing view overlooking the town, fjord and mountains. Only few minutes away from town central. Three bedrooms, one with double bed and the others with two single beds. Modern and spacious kitchen and living room with large windows. Two bathrooms and laundry with washer and dryer. Hot tub inside with a large door to the balcony. Garden furniture and BBQ on the balcony. Northern lights and "ski out" during the winter.

Our cottage was built in 2019 and was ready for furnishing in October 2019. The whole house, interior and houseware is generally of high quality. The living room has a cosy sofa and a 65” tv screen. All beds are high quality with down comforters for every guest. There are two bathrooms, where one of the bathrooms also serves as a laundry room, and an indoor hottub with view over Akureyri. the outside storage room you have space for your outdoor equipment. The Viking Country Club. The twin room Amerika.

The room America is with a two twin beds, working table and reading lamps. The bed sheets are white and soft. The down pillows are good but if you need extra pillows we provide them down, polyester or Wellpur. The bathrooms are two, sheared for 6 rooms. One downstairs few steps away and the second one upstairs. The hot tub outside the kitchen is always open and 40 degrees Celsius. If you need something ask for it is our motto. We provide bath towels and robes for the hot tub.

The house is beautifully located in Hjalteyri. From the house there is a stunning view over the fiord, with both mountains and water in sight. The inside of the house is bright, because of the big windows and light colors inside. The house is located a 20 minutes drive from both Akureyri and Dalvík - two larger cities. Hope you will enjoy our cottage house and its surroundings. Hjalteyri offers a restaurant, art gallery and a public hot tub by the ocean.

Apartment B offers peace, privacy, and breathtaking views on our serene Icelandic farm. Unwind in the shared geothermal hot tub and cold plunge, surrounded by pure nature and crisp mountain air. On clear winter nights, you might see the Northern Lights above and enjoy crystal-clear water flowing straight from our mountain, Staðarhnjúkur. 10 minutes drive to Akureyri and a lot of activities nearby. We are located 20km from Akureyri, so this cabin is the perfect location for those seeking peace and quiet, nature, northern lights or just a great base on the Arctic Coastway.
