When you're not enjoying the spacious screened porch and wood-burning stoves, choose to spend your time hiking, rafting, or fishing.

This cottage sits at the end of a quiet road just a 10 minute walk from downtown Hope, AK. The house is on 3 acres and has great sun on the deck. The cottage has heat and electricity. Bathroom includes hot shower, sink and toilet. Kitchen is fully furnished. Queen sized Bed is in loft up a steep staircase/ladder. Owners are next door and happy to answer questions, particularly about rafting Sixmile Creek, as Gareth is a guide for FlowAK. Be advised there is no gas station in Hope!

Use our outdoor fire pit, stocked with wood. Meet Wally our resident walrus and enjoy a truly extraterrestrial experience.

Relax at this rustic log cabin located in Hope, Alaska. Enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, and live music venues at this historic gold mining town. Easy to drive to or fly into the Hope airstrip just a few minutes walk away. The cabin is comfy and unique although it does NOT have running water and is serviced by an outhouse. The queen bed and twin bed are upstairs making the cabin unsuitable for persons with mobility issues and children. No pets.
