The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. Situated in the township of Braes, only a 15 minute drive from Portree, our cabin 'moonen' overlooks the Sound of Raasay. It sits on the sea side of an old church building, near the shoreline. It is peaceful here and a haven for wildlife. You can sometimes see whales and dolphins from your window and seals and otters on the nearby shore. Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. Per Mare Per Terram is a cosy cabin that boasts breath taking views of Loch Broom and the surrounding Munros. Standing alone at the top of Braes in Ullapool it has a wonderful cosy feeling when wrapped up inside, offering out of the way tranquillity whilst still being able to enjoy the amazing scenery no matter what the weather conditions. The cabin is equipped with a fridge, microwave,kettle, toaster and excellent wi-fi. It also has a shower room and modern composting toilet.

The Bothan

The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.
