This recently renovated Welsh cottage with original features, modern appliances and cosy woodburner is situated above the village of Garndolbenmaen, near Porthmadog. This is a perfect, secluded, romantic retreat for two situated along a quiet lane with stunning panoramic westerly views over Cardigan Bay and the Llyn peninsula. The cottage is well-placed to explore Snowdon (30 minutes away), the Llyn peninsula (right in front of you) and the quiet coves and beaches of Anglesey (30 minutes away).

You are only 5 minutes walk from the coastal path and beautiful beaches of Borth y Gest. There's so much to explore and see in the area: Snowdonia, Portmeirion, castles, narrow gauge railways in nearby Porthmadog and if you are looking for more excitement try the zip wires at Blaenau and Llanberis. The Nook’ is a self contained 2 bedroom cottage annex, inspired by its medieval inglenook fireplace. It is situated at the end of a long drive in a peaceful rural location. Hiking trails abound with Harlech beach, town and castle a walk away. The area has plenty to offer; steam railways, Portmeirion, sandy beaches, ZipWorld and Mt Snowdon are just a car ride away. Alternatively enjoy the Nook’s garden with BBQ/fire-pit and perhaps a game on its unique pétanque pitch or retro games machine.
