This beautiful, unspoilt detached 1820s gate lodge, with exposed beams, flagstone floor and eclectic decor, lies just a short stroll from the centre of the charming market town of Welshpool, with its fine selection of shops, inns and restaurants. Situated opposite the town’s train station for the Llanfair Heritage Steam Railway. Its location affords easy access to the gateway of wales. Uneven flagstone steps to 1 double bedroom. It’s in the small village of Four Crosses near the England/Wales border and can sleep five people in two bedrooms, one king-size double and one family room comprising three single beds. The ground floor has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a gravelled patio with garden furniture.

Penylan farmhouse is part of a large Georgian house built in the late 18th century alongside the beautiful Vyrnwy river valley overlooking Meifod in Montgomeryshire, Mid Wales, with 6 bedrooms, room for friends and families from any number up to 12 people. Christmas and New Year 2023/24 is currently available but not open the site so please message us any requests.
