Surrounded by abundant wildlife and stunning countryside, it’s the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. An ideal home-from-home retreat, relaxed and family-friendly with plenty to keep everyone entertained with our private woodland, trampoline, Wii and toys. Plus cozy amenities along with fresh eggs from our hens (when laying), coffee pods and wood for the wood burner.

The accommodation is full of period features but is cosy and perfect for feeling like you're getting away from it all. Tucked away in the very heart of the picturesque city of Wells, just moments from the High Street, Cathedral & Bishop's Palace. The Hidey Hole is a charming one bedroom cottage, accessed via a pretty central courtyard. Having recently been refurbished, this stylish cottage offers an eclectic mix, combining modern convenience, character features and quirky, yet sumptuous, décor. This hidden gem is ideally placed to enjoy all that Wells has to offer and makes the perfect place to relax & unwind.

The Wheelwrights Workshop

The Wheelwrights Workshop is located at the end of an old barn which has since been converted into this lovely self catering cottage that sleeps two. Please note currently we are offering this cottage at a reduced rate as outside the main door of the cottage there is another old barn which is yet to be converted and due to that there is a little clutter. Rest assured though once inside the cottage you will not notice it and the bedroom window has views of the Tor our only cottage that does.

The emperor bed, roll top cast iron bath, inglenook fireplace with cosy log burner and window seat provide the ingredients for a relaxing and memorable holiday. As we’re in a lovely countryside setting, you may spot some of our little neighbours such as spiders or other harmless insects who also enjoy the peace and quiet here.

The Old stables is part of the original estate of Cary Fitzpaine. Although the setting is rural, we are a short way from A37 (.5 mile) and A303 (1.5 miles) which makes us very accessible to other amenities/attractions. The property is self contained and private. The owners live nearby and are happy for guests to walk around the farm, and are also on hand if required. We are in easy reach of many National Trust properties, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum, Haynes Car Museum and many more.

Easy access to Cheddar Gorge with its staggering caves, Glastonbury Tor and Abbey rich in myth and legend and Wells with its magnificent Cathedral and Bishops Palace.

Frassino Cottage is a peaceful retreat on the southern tip of Street, home to Clarks Village shopping outlet and Millfield School. The accommodation offers modern facilities in a private space within the plot of the host family’s home. It’s set on a lane that’s popular with local dog walkers and joggers, and the Polden Way footpath is just up the hill. The Ham Wall National Nature Reserve and the historic centres of Glastonbury, Wells and Somerton are a short drive away.
