Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. A-frame cabin with open floor layout (no private bedrooms) near the base of Alyeska Ski Resort. The house is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of many Girdwood attractions. Easy access to hiking trails, the ski resort, many nearby restaurants, and the Girdwood Brewing Company. Pets allowed on approval. There is no Wi-Fi on the property, but there is cell coverage.
