Located directly opposite the highly-acclaimed Fairfax Arms and on the edge of the Ampleforth Abbey and College campus, with a 9 hole golf course in the village.

This fabulous little bolt hole is a converted, 19th century railway shed in the picture postcard village of Gilling East. Brilliantly located on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, it offers cosy and self contained , shepherds hut style accommodation less than 300 meters from a lovely country pub. Five miles from Helmsley and a short drive from Castle Howard, the Parcel Shed retains its original beams and enjoys beautiful views over the lower reaches of the Ampleforth Valley.

Located in the stunning Howardian Hills, this is a peaceful and romantic location. A perfect all year round escape. You park your car and the hut is a 3 minute walk from our house- make sure you pack suitable footwear. We can transport your luggage to the hut. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.
