Only a 5 min. drive to spectacular beaches. This romantic little cabin features a king bed, deck with an unobstructed view of the surrounding woods, cozy gas cast iron stove, Keurig, mini-fridge, microwave and lovely walk in shower.

Located on the beautiful Smith River*. Fully furnished. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. Spacious living room with large windows providing beautiful views of the the river. Wifi, Roku with streaming channels (bring your login info for Hulu, Amazon, Netflix, etc). * river is not accessible from the home however there is access about 1 mile down the road. Gayle's Garden Cottage

A tiny house cottage set in a garden amongst the redwoods, surrounded by rhodies, maples, birch and apple trees. Beautiful in all seasons. The cottage is foam insulated and thus very quiet for a good night's sleep. I use fragrance free detergent on linens. The queen bed (3 layers of high density memory foam mattresses) is in a loft, accessible by an angled loft ladder with handhold cutouts (not suitable for infants or children). Nema 14-50 plug available.

Only a mile and a half to town and a few miles from Jedediah Smith Sate park, it provides a central, quiet retreat with the convenience of quick access to beaches, hiking trails, restaurants, and stores. From enjoying the soaking tub to relaxing in the sunroom or back patio, this open floor plan has a fun, rustic space that everyone can enjoy.

Fern Hook Vacation Cabins are located nearby Jedidiah Smith State Park in the tiny hamlet of Hiouchi, California. Indulge yourself in a private setting of magnificent redwoods carpeted with ferns. Our newly constructed cabins with full kitchens will provide deluxe accommodations while you enjoy this natural wonderland. We are pet friendly, but require a 30$ per pet fee, for each reservation.
