This is a totally renovated barn done to luxury standards and is located on our farm down a private road, situated at the northern end of Flathead Lake. Welcome to Stoney Lonesome Retreat. Why Stoney Lonesome? Not entirely sure, you can blame it on my great grandfather, old Fredrick Richard August Christian Uhde. He named the property back in 1972 and the name has stuck!!! My parents Elward and Susan purchased our property in the summer of 1969 for $500 and we have been here ever since. My brother and I were raised here and now my wife Gretchen and I are so proud to be raising our son Simon here. The third generation on this land.

Tucked away in a quiet community with close access to cross-country ski trails. The local lodge is closed this season but the trails are still being groomed on Fridays! Enjoy a fun day of cross-country skiing or go out and explore on snowshoes then come back to the cabin for warm showers, and comfortable beds.
