River's Retreat is our bright and sunny 2 bed/1 bath apartment in the heart of Lanesboro, with the bike trail, canoe & tube rental, shops and dining right outside your door. This is the upper floor of a duplex, one of the original houses in Lanesboro. It is newly renovated, preserving the old character, but with an eclectic vibe, original art, soft bedding and all the amenities to make you feel right at home. We also have a bike storage shed and charging station for your EV or bike.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay here. This apartment is located in a remodeled church. It is a corner unit and overlooks the football field and campground to the west. Short walk to Sylvan park and downtown. Private entrance with no steps. We do have a bike rack out front for everyone but you’re also welcome to bring your bikes in the apartment if you prefer. We always like to provide a few more amenities than you’d expect! We want your stay to be comfy!

The Valley

*NEW Set on 200 acres of hiking trails and surrounded by a trout stream, this 6,000 square foot house built in 2001 by the Amish in traditional barn-raising style is astonishing. A family- owned property since the 1890s, all of the wood for the house is from the property. This breathtaking home has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a bar, a pool table and all of the space a family needs. Open ceilings and breathtaking views make for a wonderful time. Cyclin-Up of Whalan

The house sleeps 8 in 3 queen sized beds and one full size futon. It has 2 bathrooms and an awesome view. In the front yard there is a softball park, complete with teeter-totters, slide, swings and fire pit. The house has hardwood floors and is pet friendly. This 100+ year old house has been moved, from its original location across from the pie shop, and is now overlooking Gator Greens Mini Golf. The house has been gutted to the studs and totally redone.

Modern Cabin on 28 acres of Valley Views and ponds

Nestled on 28+ acres of lush landscape, 10 ponds( two of which are stocked with trout). This modern cabin boasts three cozy bedrooms, each with its own unique charm! There are two full bathrooms, and can comfortably sleep up to 7 guests. Plenty of outdoor spaces to fish, hike, bike, and kayak. Property adjoins to a bike trail that will take you into town and varies other places including a newly installed Frisbee Golf Course.
