Què farem?

We'll meet in the huge entrance hall at Termini Train Station, the Rome's biggest train station, and one of Europe’s largest as well. In the ancient city, the Baths of Diocletian (the Latin word for baths is “thermae”) were across the street from where the train station is today. You can get there using the Metro, both the Red and Blue lines serve the train station and are accessed via the lower level. And piazza dei Cinquecento just in front is a major hub for bus lines in Rome, especially if you are coming from the city center.
We'll walk just for few minutes until we'll arrive where the experience will take place: I'll introduce you to the local food and wine coming from the whole region of Lazio: focaccia, cheeses, prosciutto, wine, bread, fried arancini, truffles, hot pizza from a wooden fire oven, olive oil and gelato! You'll learn how to recognize great authentic flavors from industrial ones and you'll love it! Finally not a touristy trap!
So you'll be able to buy genuine products from our Region to take home and give them to your loved ones. Back home you'll feel like you are still in Italy!

On aniràs?

The area of Termini station is one of the most popular and multiethnic neighborhoods of Rome, the building is characterized by the linear lobby hall, a tall space of monumental dimensions. This great hall is fronted by full height glass walls, and is covered with a concrete roof that consists of a flattened and segmented arch, a modernist version of a barrel vault from a Roman bath. On 23 December 2006, the station was dedicated to Pope John Paul.

Bea was a phenomenal tour guide! She is truly passionate about good food and gave us some great recommendations for other places to try! She even told us what to look out for to ensure food we buy in Rome is authentic! We really enjoyed it.

We had just arrived in Italy for an extended stay and were looking for a good introduction to Italian food and culture. This tour ticked all our boxes and more! Bea was a wonderful guide. She had lots of stories to tell and was able to answer all our questions. The food and wine we tasted were delicious, the venue was first class (we went back the next day!) and the restaurant recommendations received post tour have been really helpful. Grazie mille, ladies! Highly recommend.

I spend a nice time, the food was great and the host was really kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. With this kind of experience you can discover a part of the italian culture as a local could experience it.

It's an awesome experience. I'm very picky with food but she was very understanding and I was able to try a lot of things outside my confort zone. I went with my grandma that loved the experience. Although it wasn't something I would have planned doing we ended up loving it - we met new people and now we understand little bit more of Italian food and culture. Besides she gives great advice for places to eat and what to avoid. Furthermore, she's very passionate about it which is rare nowadays. If you're ever in Rome you should definitely try it. Great adventure!

Many awesome tips and useful information on the best non-touristic places to eat and drink like a real italian! Thanks for a great time Bea...you’re the best!
