Què farem?

1- Arrive in the forest and I’ll give an introduction to Forest Bathing which includes meandering through the forest which ever way it draws you and paying attention to your 5 senses. Being silent is important to be able to get the full benefit.

2- We will start with self healing exercises. First we’ll do deep breathing. Then we will do a technique to release unwanted negative connections. Next we will clean and energize our energy field with the help of the forest. Final self healing exercise will be a Qi Gong technique to expel negative emotions.

3- We start our Forest Bathing by walking silently through the forest in any direction the forest pulls us. We use our sense of smell to enjoy the fragrances that the forest has to offer. We use our sense of sight to appreciate the colors and shapes of the forest. We use our sense of hearing to pay attention to the birds, insects, flowing water and the wind flowing through the trees. We use our sense of touch to feel the texture of the trees and plants. For our sense of taste I will be gathering eatable plants that will be brewed into a tea for the conclusion of our Forest Bathing so we can taste the earthy flavor of the forest. I also encourage guests to sit quietly under a tree, on a log, by the babbling brook, or one of the many waterfalls in the area.

4- I will conclude with tea and sharing Forest Bathing experiences.

I have a beautiful spot in the forest that offers an assortment of trees, plants, wild flowers, a stream and water falls. Lots of birds. A very peaceful spot to rejuvenate, un-stress and re-energize.

I love the forest and needed some time away from the city. Selena is an excellent host and we went to some time in different spots that I will definitely be back to visit again. She wraps up the experience with a tea ceremony, made from different plants from the forest. So tasty! I left the experience feeling renewed. Highly recommend! :)

Selena is the local guide we've all been looking for. She knows the mountain, the creeks, the trees, the animals. But she's also so grounded and open that she's always willing to learn more. We met in a parking lot in the village, and journeyed off into an unknown direction on the mountain. We came to a beautifully secluded area where all you can hear are the birds and rushing water. Selena guided us through some exercises that helped us connect more to our senses, which we used all five of to fully immerse ourselves in the forest. It was such a magical experience and I'm so grateful Selena shared with us her local spots and knowledge. She is a treasure. The water and tea was unlike any other as well. This was something I think everyone should experience.

This was my first time to experience Forest-Bathing. I instantly connected with the activity since I myself is a nature lover. I also saw the book Forest Bathing written by Dr Qing Li prior to joining this experience so I was very open and very receptive. The book explains how Forest Bathing can help us find health and happiness. After the 3 hour activity, I felt refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated. My favorite part was drinking clean and fresh water from a spring. It tasted so great! What a rare and wonderful experience! I also enjoyed the sound of the creek, the little waterfalls and the birds. I’d surely include Forest Bathing as one of my regular outdoor activities. Selena was a gracious, sincere and kind guide. She made us some fresh hot tea made of wild local herbs we saw while exploring the forest. We had some small tea ceremony afterwards. Definitely recommended for people who needs to slow down and just do nothing.

Such a neat experience. My daughter chose to do this for her 16th birthday. So her father, brother and myself (mom) decided to book this experience. First off...the day we were interested in wasn’t available. I decided to write Selena to see if she had any availability that day if possible. Apparently her schedule had in fact changed last minute, and she was able to fit us in. It was a very relaxing experience for us “hustle bustle” Orange County people. We don’t get a whole lot of time away from people and electronics. This was just so refreshing. Selena’s energy was super chill and even our dog (who is terrified of people) went right up to her without issue! Selena was very personable and we learned a lot about the trees and healing aspects of the forest. Even my go-go-go engineering minded son and business minded husband took it all in and say they feel like they really needed that. We all loved that we got to fill up our water bottles with fresh artesian water straight from the mountain. Best water I’ve ever had! Delish! It was just an overall lovely experience.

This was an amazing experience. Selena was amazing, knowledgeable and very caring. You instantly feel connected and grounded. I wanted to get away from the city life and stumbled upon this experience. It was better than expected. You feel one with nature. It’s both educational and experiential! We did healing exercises and I felt I was able to let go of a lot of things I’ve been holding on to. You leave feeling rejuvenated, relaxed and at peace. Selena was so great. She made this an amazing experience and will definitely be back. She went above and beyond!
