Què farem?

Evening SUP paddle around the islands of Windermere - After a short land based intro to the equipment which is all 'this seasons' we will head out onto the lake where I will guide you around the local area and give you some top tips on paddling along the way. The time on the water will be based around your ability so we stay within your comfort zone ensuring you have an enjoyable experience! I will share points of local interest with you and we can stop on an island for some short refreshment and some great Selfies whilst the sun sets. This experience should last approx 2 hours

Lake Windermere is the largest Lake in England and for the last 30 years its been my back garden for teaching watersports. Over the last 10 years I have found a true passion for Stand-Up-Paddleboarding and have competed Nationally and paddled Internationally with the sport. I have a great knowledge of the Lake and its history and love to share the quieter spots away from the madding crowds. I run the local watersports shop and offer the largest fleet of SUP's in the north of England so i have something for everyone. I am a level 3 SUP coach with the Association of Surfing Instructors and have numerous other watersport qualifications.
I am committed to promoting Windermere as a stunning destination venue and embracing Responsible and Sustainable Tourism

We will tour around islands such as Belle Isle and Thompson's Holme or perhaps take a shoreline trip towards Storrs Hall, there are many options available to us to allow for varied weather conditions.

My fiancé and I came to the lakes on holiday and decided to give paddle boarding a go...and so pleased we did! Daz (our host) was friendly, approachable and really made us feel at ease, as we were both a bit nervous with it being our first time paddle boarding! We took it slow at first as we were both unsteady on our feet, but once we got a bit more confident we took a paddle round to a lovely spot where Daz had got us some hot chocolate to sit and enjoy the views! Which was a lovely added touch to the experience. He took lots of great photos of our experience and tailored it to us, making sure we didn’t feel out of our depth. We would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting! We will be back to do it again for sure!
