Què farem?

Trillium Creek Training and Rehabilitation Center is 10 acres of woods, trails, water, gardens, orchards, and 12 horses who have been healed and retrained. When guests arrive to our center, they'll be welcomed with a brief tour of our barns and horses. We'll also go over property rules and safety. Guests 18 and over will be required to sign our liability waiver.

Our mission is to heal and retrain horses with care, education, acceptance, mutual support, respect and appreciation, combined with arts, nature, and the special people who love them. In this experience, you will have a special opportunity to connect with our horses and groom them. I'll teach you how to safely groom small and large horses from top to bottom. You'll learn about the 3 sets of brushes and what they're used for, how to brush the main and tail without damaging the hair, and checking their eyes, nostrils, ears, and teeth. Once you feel comfortable with the horses, you'll also learn how to pick up their feet without getting kicked.

We look forward to hosting you and showing the magic of our horses!
Other things to note
We have heated/air conditioned places for hot drinks or snack time in inclement weather. We also have a campfire ring to roast marshmallows if visitors bring the fixings to make s'mores

We loved our experience at Trillium Creek Coalition. We learned so much about the horses, their care, and the volunteer experience. The horseback riding was top notch! Bonnie and Walt are an absolute pleasure. They took great care to connect with us and connect us to the majesty of the wonderful animals they have rescued. They even photographed us so that we could really be present and enjoy our time together. I highly recommend this experience!
