Què farem?

You will begin with a 20 to 30 minute on-shore lesson. This includes water-safety review and Stand Up Paddling (SUP) basics to get you prepared for the water. From there, we will head onto the water and begin practicing the elements we reviewed on shore, then off for a 1 hour to 1.5 hour tour/excursion where you'll see local wildlife with LED lights to guide us as the sun goes down, put in some exercise, and enjoy the beautiful Costa Rica coastline from a different perspective.

On aniràs?

We will explore the waters of Playa Mantas near Punta Leona Resort, a local beach 15 minutes north of Jaco. This beach provides a great place to learn and explore native ocean wildlife, a scenic view, and calm waters to learn, cruise, and enjoy.

Jordan and Mango were both fantastic! Jordan was great with communication both leading up to the experience and during. Mango was an excellent guide while we were out on the water. Made us both feel comfortable and safe while we paddle boarding. The led lights were a fantastic bonus!

Jordan and the Coastal Balance team we're fantastic, they care deeply about making the SUP experience special and unique. As a host, Jordan was proactive and friendly in his communication both pre and during our time together. As we began the tour he explained our day in detail and made sure that my questions were answered. He explained his philosophy behind Coastal Balance, which was fascinating (being an expat who moved to Jaco with his family and fell in love and wants to help visitors experience the local eco travel experience). Mango the primary on water guide was so fun and friendly, adding his local knowledge and expertise to telling the story of Jaco & Herradura Bay. If you come to Jaco, Coastal Balance and the SUP experience is awesome and well worth the time, you will NOT be disappointed!
