5:00 AM
You will be met our guide and driver at your accommodation, then take a short transfer to Angkor Wat in time to see the sunrise. Your guide will take you to the best spots to witness the colourful sunrise. Afterwards, you will go through the Angkor central complex and talk about the history and symbolism of the temple. Ask as many questions as possible to ensure you get the information about the place you’ll visit.
8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
When you have finished discovering Angkor Wat and had breakfast, you will be met with your bike. Then start the bike tour down single trails behind Angkor Park. On your bike, you will follow tracks that take you through small villages hidden in the Angkor complex, where you’ll see a different perspective of lives surrounding the complex. From there it’s a straight cycle to discover other temples such as Angkor Thom City, Bayon Temple, Preah Khan and Ta Prohm temple better known as the Tomb Raider temple.
1:30 PM
After all that crawling, you will appreciate a big traditional Cambodian meal with a large spread of local dishes. As the day heats up, we drive back to town and to your hotel.
Note: Angkor temple pass is not included.
Distance: (25km - 30km)
Other things to note
Note: Cambodia is a conservative country, especially when you visit the main temple, Angkor Wat, we would like all of the participants to wear clothing that covers the shoulder and knees.

Let’s be clear, I didn’t do the bike tour. I booked the bike tour, I got ready for the bike tour, and 5 minutes before pick up I feel and twisted my ankle. After watching the sunrise, stumbling around angkor wat for another hour or two and having breakfast, I realised there was no way I could do 30 km of biking and asked my guide Ben (who was awesome! Really kind, funny, knowledgable and accommodating) if there was any chance to change the tour to a motorbike tour. Half an hour later our bikes had been picked up and a scooter had been delivered. I had an amazing day and saw the three (we drove by a forth one) main temples. I can’t attest for the bike tour specifically, but the company and the guides are amazing and will go out of their way to make it a wonderful experience for you!

It was a fun and exciting experience. The sunrise early wake up is totally worth it. Our Guide was very knowledgeable. The best part was when we got on the bikes! He took us on some small dirt trails that felt truly off the beaten path. We visited some ruins that have been untouched and we were the only ones there. We also went to a native village living in traditional stilt houses. We biked through the jungle and even over small bridge it truly felt we earned our lunches! We would definitely book again!

Amazing bike ride! My partner and I really enjoyed it! Ben and the tuk-tuk driver (I can't remember his name :( ), our hosts, were amazing and very helpful the whole time. We also enjoyed the snack (a lot of fresh fruit) and lunch (delicious Amok). It's important to note that we went in high season, but with this tour we could avoid traffic. We took roads that you can't reach in either tuk-tuk or car (we were even able to go to an entrance to the temple that no one else goes to and we were the only ones there). For me, the highlight was seeing an elephant on the bike trail.

We booked a sunrise bike tour for Angkor Wat through Borith. We were picked up around 4:30 am and our host Ly brought us to the key ticketing area to purchase our tickets. After that, we went to Angkor Wat and watched the sunrise. We then went on a tour of the temple. Ly shared his insights, knowledge and personal perspectives along the way.
At about 8:30 am we were greeted by the driver with our bikes. The bikes were modern and well maintained. We then began our exhilarating cycling adventure through the jungle behind the temple grounds. This was the highlight of the tour. We certainly would not have discovered these parts on our own. Ly went at our pace and would stop at certain points to share information or stories. We visited a number of famous and lesser-known temples such as Angkor Thom, Bayon temple, Ta Nei and Ta Phrom ( The Tomb Raider Temple).
Ly had a lot of knowledge of each temple and did an excellent job of painting what life was like for people back in the Angkor period. We were also taken to a nice restaurant for breakfast and lunch and ate beautiful tropical fruit sitting outside Ta Phrom.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would certainly do it again and recommend it to others. The only thing we would say was that the host was a little late and it would have been nice if we were told in advance that it was Ly who was taking the tour, not Borith.
If you want a different way to experience Angkor Wat, then this is definitely the tour for you!
