We will have an unforgettable journey made of history, tradition and art right in the hearth of Naples, the historical center, ending the tour with a typical caffè espresso!

We'll be visiting some of the most important monument of this marvelous city through the knowledge of a professional Historian, including special hints and hidden details you normally wouldn't read about!

Some of the historic places and attraction we will walk through are: Piazza Dante and the bookshop of Port’Alba, Piazza Bellini and the Greek Walls, Via Tribunali and Pietrasanta bell tower, Via Anticaglia and the Greek-Roman Theatre, San Lorenzo Maggiore Church, Underground Naples (entrance), Via San Gregorio Armeno and the artisanal cribs, Spaccanapoli road, Piazzetta Nilo, Piazza del Gesù and much more!

Starting in Piazza Dante, we will walk about 2 hours around the historical center of Naples, where the most important attractions are located, ending the tour with a typical caffè espresso! Some of the places and attraction we will walk through are: Piazza Dante, Piazza Bellini , Via Tribunali, Via Anticaglia, San Lorenzo Maggiore Church, Underground Naples (entrance), Via San Gregorio Armeno, Spaccanapoli road, Piazzetta Nilo, Piazza del Gesù.

A fun and what felt like a very personal walk through the old heart of Naples. Because Naples has such a vast history, out walk could have lasted an entire day or more, but what we got in two hours felt like the gems! Highly recommended!

This was a simply wonderful experience! Marina has an excellent and in-depth knowledge of the city’s history, combined with a warm personality and a knack for story telling. We learnt and saw so much! We left the walk feeling that we had a great insight into what makes Naples so special.

When I first arrived in Naples, I was quite overwhelmed by the traffic, the busy streets etc. After the 2 hour walk with Marina in the historical area, I not only got my bearings of the city, but also felt that I started to understand its heritage and culture. It was a great introduction to the city. Thanks!
