Què farem?

As seen on the PBS “The Joy of Painting” Program, the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet Technique is easy to learn, even for beginners. You will be able to complete an entire oil painting in just one class. This method leads you step by step into the wonderful world of art.

You will arrive at my home studio in West Linn where we will spend the next 4 to 6 hours painting a preselected painting as a group. I will teach you this painting step-by-step (you paint along with me) and provide all the necessary supplies; including a 12x16 stretched canvas, paints, use of brushes, and a box to safely ship your wet painting home. This class takes up to 6 hours including our 1 hour lunch break.
Other things to note
Your paintings will take about 3 weeks to dry. We will secure your painting by stapling it in a pizza box so that you can safely carry it home. Shipping is provided for an additional charge.

I am a Certified Bob Ross Instructor and artist. I have 8 years experience teaching the Bob Ross Wet-On-Wet Oil Painting Technique; specializing in landscapes, seascapes, and florals. I have been painting Bob Ross style paintings since I was a little girl and I teach out of my home studio as well as other arts centers in the area.

My favorite thing about teaching is proving to someone who has never picked up a paint brush, that they too, can complete an entire painting of "happy trees" in one day! Seeing the joy on my students faces by the end of class is always a treat!

I had a better time than I expected and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the company for a few hours. I will return soon. I think to paint the waterfall scene.

I had the best experience learning to paint Bob Ross’s style, in an amazing studio, by an amazing teacher. It was so much fun, I’m going to take another class, soon! I didn’t think I would actually end up with a final product, I’d hang up on the wall, but I plan on framing and hanging it! True was a fun optimist, and kept an encouraging atmosphere. She also had some great coffee, and offered us some homemade soup that was the best ever!

Què cal portar?

Aprons are provided but please dress in clothes you don't mind getting messy!

We will be taking a 1/2 hour to 1 hour break for lunch, so please bring a picnic lunch and join the group picnic on studio grounds. If this isn't an option there are restaurants nearby.
