En este tour tendremos la oportunidad de visitar una Hacienda donde te contaremos la historia de las haciendas henequeneras que fueron hace tan solo un siglo la base de la economía en Yucatán, visitaremos los cenotes más bonitos del Estado donde podrás nadar y explorar la entrada al inframundo maya; para recargar energías degustarás una deliciosa comida tradicional con la comunidad local mientras aprendes sobre la cultura maya.

I had such a fantastic tour with Jessica! Jessica told me that I was her first tour booked since March as Airbnb experiences were shut down until only recently. So I'm happy that I had the chance to support a local tour guide during this trying time! I can confirm that Jessica did a great job with COVID precautions during the tour. Both of us wore masks the entire time except when we went inside the cenotes. Jessica did go inside the first cenote with me as she explained what I was looking at inside the cenote. I loved that she did this! I thought the hacienda tour was great and I love that this hacienda is unique because it's not restored like most haciendas. Moreover, this hacienda is unique because there are two cenotes located on-site and the first one is absolutely stunning while the second one is so cool! I won't spoil the surprise as you have to book the tour to find out. Moreover, I loved that we had lunch with a local Mayan family who cooked for us! I got to visit at their house farm and it was very COVID friendly because we ate outside of course. I had the chance to practice speaking Spanish with the local Mayan family but I also learned that they also speak Mayan and I just learned more about the culture in general. This is an experience you won't get if you book a tour with a big tour company. This part of the tour was one of my favorite ever experiences here in the Yucatan! I highly recommend booking this tour and I wish I could book the city tour that Jessica usually offers but unfortunately, during this pandemic she isn't running this tour. Hopefully I can return to the Yucatan and book more tours with Jessica in the future!

What an incredible experience we had with our host Jessica! As soon as we met up, Jessica's kind and friendly personality welcomed us. She and her father picked us up from where we were staying, and drove us to our private cenotes tour. The car ride was full of conversation. Here we were able to learn so much about each other. Jessica customized the tour for us, making arrangements to even stop along the way for us to get a bite to eat. We visited three cenotes, one being on someones land which felt like an honor to visit. The second location we visited had two cenotes and a walking tour which was a history lesson in itself. Jessica made sure we were comfortable, offering us life jackets and water and even holding on to small personal belongings which she didn't have to do! While we were taking in the experience, Jessica took pictures for us that we could have never gotten for ourselves! She is truly exceptional at planning and covering all bases; it is so wonderful seeing someone so passionate about traveling, culture, and preserving land and culture. The tour felt like it was given by a friend and we left feeling like we had one. Highly recommend booking with Jessica!

I highly recommend going on a private tour with Jessica. I have been to Mexico many times and visited cenotes but none of my other trips were even close to as good as the one Jessica provided. Her and her grandpa who was our driver were friendly and very knowledgeable on the areas we visited. Jessica has a lot of passion toward the Yucatán and showed us cenotes and areas of Mexico we would have never found on our own. I will book a private tour next time I am in Merida with Jessica for sure.

Jessica was a fantastic host who conveyed us on a wonderful journey. We have a new found understanding of the Merida history and the role that haciendas played in the local culture and history. The cenotes were a refreshing exquisite opportunity to cool ourselves but also explore a unique environment that exists no where else in the world. The cenotes were fascinating and we experienced all the types that this locality had to offer. I would highly recommend this experience and Jessica is very interesting guide who places a lot of emphasis on local culture and sustainability. She is a trained professional and has traveled the world so she is connected to the experience and it's uniqueness. Do not hesitate join Jessica and we will surely be back.
