Travel with us across the Grandma's kitchen around Italy to learn the authentic traditional recipes.

There will be 5 crazy grandmas, their granddaughters and their entire families ready to welcome you in their own home... like you’re there, minus the jet lag!

  • Large wood cutting board (even a table!) -- counter top is fine if that's all you have
  • Rolling pin
  • Big Knife with a flat blade -- think large cutting knife or a bread knife
  • 2 cups of "00" grade flour or "Doppio Zero" literally means "Double Zero"
  • 2 eggs (organic is better for taste)

I learnt how to make pasta by my grandma, Nonna Nerina... I spent my entire childhood making pasta with her!

Whenever I sat in my grandma's kitchen growing up, she’d make pasta while sharing memories of her own mom and grandma. I soon realized my generation was missing something important: the handmade pasta techniques and traditions passed down through the ages. I learned everything from her, and decided to share this gem with the rest of the world.
Soon other grandmas around Italy joint our projects, sharing their pasta secrets!

Over three years, we've hosted more than 4,000 travelers in our kitchen (check our in-person experience at https://www.airbnb.it/experiences/55449).
Now we're launching our online experience...let's cook together!

Chiara and Nonna were delightful. Paced well, lots of encouragement along the way. I was pleased at how well it worked through zoom.

Such a blast! We chose this experience as an alternative to a family gathering for Thanksgiving, and everyone had the best time. Nonna and Giada were wonderful and engaging and everyone (even those who never cook) managed to pull off a delicious spinach ricotta ravioli. Production value was incredible (multiple camera angles to help us see the process). Thank you Nonna and Giada, such a special and memorable experience.

This was a great experience. My 10 year old made the homemade pasta and I made the sauce. So fun and so delicious!

This was so fun, great to see other people and places at least in the computer. Chiara and Nonna were great instructors and our pasta and sauce turned out delicious!

Loved this experience. We felt like we were in Italy with Nonna! Such a lovely way to spend an evening, and a delicous meal at the end of it too. Would recommend this to anyone. Thank you Chiara and Nonna!

We had such a fun time with this airbnb experience! Even if we couldn't quite make as nice a pasta as our hosts, it was still an absolute delight. The hosts were funny and engaging and talented and it was wonderful.
