Welcome to the Nuthatch, a cozy cabin in the woods outside Fairbanks. This dog-friendly little cabin is just 7 miles from town but surrounded by the boreal forest. This is glamping at its best, a solid roof, warm place, bed, WiFi, and tv. This is a “dry” cabin, with an outhouse but no running water (no shower. Look out for wildlife and northern lights or roast a s’more over the campfire. If you have more guests, there is an additional cabin on the property "Come Visit the Warbler", holds four.

We have a banya sauna for bathing. Running hot & cold water inside cabin. A store & laundromat with showers 1 mile away. Ivory Jacks restaurant & bar 1 mile away, Sam's Thai 3 miles. Great northern lights viewing! Close to hiking trails & bird sanctuary. Our home is a 4min walk from cabin.

Explore the Golden Heart City from this adorable little cabin! Nestled in the hills of Goldstream you'll feel like you're deep in the wilderness but you'll be within 10 minutes from town. You'll feel like a real Alaskan here! No visible neighbors is such a peaceful feeling. Step outside onto the porch and sip your coffee while listening to the dog sled teams howling. You’ll likely see squirrels, birds, possibly a frog! If you're lucky you might catch some Northern Lights.

Rustic Retreat

This beautiful two bedroom, one bath log home is a perfect retreat. The cabin is located only a few miles from both Fairbanks and North Pole, while still providing a secluded hideaway. You will enjoy the large deck, beautiful surroundings, two private bedrooms and a loft sleeping area. The rustic living area is designed for comfort, with an equipped kitchen, and upgraded bath. Aurora viewable from within house if weather and aurora activity cooperate.
