Oak Framed Home with Countryside Views & Hot Tub

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

Log Cabin/Hot Tub on Private Lake Jurassic Coast

This very charming, cosy and rustic log cabin is located on a private lake on the outskirts of a quiet family farm in North Chideock, just 5 minutes drive from the Jurassic Coast. The tranquil surroundings make this place the perfect romantic getaway for couples and an amazing place to spend a holiday as a family. Various wildlife and lifestock are frequent visitors of the cabin including our resident heron. Enjoy a drink on the sun deck and watch the sunset over the fields from the hot tub.

The Hyde

Nestled in the countryside near Wareham,The Hyde is a charming, self-contained cabin perfect for two. It boasts a cozy interior with flexible sleeping options. The location offers easy access to local attractions including Arne RSPB, Corfe Castle,Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. A short walk away is the quaint market town of Wareham, with scenic riverside walks,pubs and restaurants. With its blend of natural beauty, historical sites, and cozy accommodation, The Hyde provides an idyllic getaway.

Woodside Cabin is a hand-built contemporary, warm and cosy hideaway set in the garden of the main house on the edge of private woodland backing on to open fields. It has 1 en-suite bedroom with double shower, fully fitted kitchen, and large bi-fold doors leading out to your own private garden. It’s a great space for couples looking for a mini break/romantic getaway. It’s also a great base for walkers wanting to explore the Jurassic Coast and all the incredible views South Dorset has to offer.

Moorhen cabin

Sit back and chill in this calm, stylish space. Moorhen is a newly refurbished cabin in the owner's grounds. Surrounded by open countryside and sitting directly on a bridleway/cycle route 26. It comes with use of the owner's tennis court, boules court and riverbank. In addition to the balcony some areas of the main garden are also for guest use . Within easy reach of Dorchester, Weymouth and the world famous Jurassic coast. Moorhen provides a peaceful base for you to take it easy and explore

Green Valley Off Grid Cabin

Our new, cosy, self contained eco cabin offers the perfect peaceful setting for a relaxing getaway. Nestled in a meadow on our organic small holding in the Dorset downs, this area of outstanding natural beauty is great for walking and a short drive from the Jurassic coast. Perfect for singles, couples or families up to 4. It offers a comfortable king size bed and mezzanine with 2 single beds suitable for children. Entirely off grid, it has solar electricity, hot shower and a cosy wood stove.

Stunning wooden lodge in Purbeck Countryside

A perfect escape from the crowds. This newly built cabin nestles in the Purbeck countryside in the grounds of a Victorian cottage. Sit on your secluded decking and watch the steam trains roll by whilst enjoying relaxing drinks and a bbq. On colder days huddle up on the sofa in front of the logburner or wrap up for some glorious local walks. The historic villages of Corfe Castle, Worth Matravers and Kingston are within walking distance of around 30/45 minutes, with lovely pubs at the end!

Little India & Africa (also listed on AirBNB) are set in a beautiful oasis of flowers & plants. Double bedroom with on-suite shower and toilet facilities, fully fitted kitchen (including washing machine, dishwasher, plates, cups, saucepans) and a lovely sitting room with a sofa bed and complimentary Wi-Fi. We sadly can't host Children under 16 or dogs.

The Little Berri is situated within the idyllic New Forest National Park. The cabin is self-contained, beautifully finished to a high standard and is complete with an enclosed private garden. Direct access to the forest, guests can enjoy exploring the beauty of the National Park straight from the front gate. There is also quick and easy access to main roads for guests to enjoy the beaches, villages and towns nearby and of course some wonderful country pubs.

Jurassic coast Glamping, West Dorset

The Cabin is privately located in Seatown a small hamlet under Golden Cap, the highest cliff on the south coast and next to the SW Coast Path, 200m from the sea and world heritage Jurassic Coast, think chaby chic. shepherds hut without wheels and cheeper. Cabin is has everything you will need including a spare camp bed and bbq. View Lyme bay, sunset and sea while dinning or just with a drink, in the Anchor inn beer garden on the cliff. Dogs welcome.
