Nestled alongside one of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks, Doonagore Castle Cottage has been painstakingly renovated by the castle’s owners, merging authentic 300-year-old features with modern amenities, to offer guests a unique vacation experience. Doolin village, famous for its music and culinary delights, is a ten-minute walk away, the dramatic not-to-be-missed cliffs of Moher a short drive, and a spectacular 14th century castle right next door.

Red Stonecutters Cottage is perched atop stunning Doonagore, a short drive from Doolin village. From this high point, you'll enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean, Aran Islands and the Burren. The cottage is a great base to enjoy the music in the Doolin pubs, beach in Lahinch and the harbour village of Liscannor. The cottage dates back to after the famine and has been restored to preserve the original character, complemented by carefully selected period pieces to maintain its authentic charm.

All our Emperor Bell Tents are raised off the ground on timber stands. Each tent has a double Mexican pine bed as standard, matching furnishings, semi-orthopedic mattress, bean bags, bed linen, and towels. Additional fold out beds with bed linen can be included on request. At night the tents are lit up inside by our tea light candle chandeliers and Moroccan lanterns, and outside by solar lights.
