Beautiful walks,cycling and relaxation await you from your doorstep. Chatsworth House, Hadden and Thornbridge hall, Bakewell and Buxton are all within easy reach, as is the Monsal Trail.

A walk in any direction is beautiful. 3 pubs within 10 mins walk all serve food. Peak feast bakery for cakes, bread, coffee, homity pies and delicious vegetarian food. A well-stocked village shop with cafe for all other needs, a licensed post office, a park and playing fields are all 5 mins walk away. Fantastic views from your 'studio' bedroom.

This shepherd's hut, situated on a working farm, sleeps two people in a king size bed with separate shower room. Kitchen facilities with toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge, 2-ring hob. There are lots of great walks from the doorstep and It's a two minute stroll into the village where you'll find a shop, post office, and several places to eat.

This lovely remote location lets you unwind in the great outdoors, with breathtaking hill walks straight out of the door. The most popular route being ‘The Dragon’s Back’. Buxton, the local historic spa town, is just a 15 minute drive or 60 minute walk. There are a handful of local villages - Earl Sterndale, Hollinsclough, Longnor and Hartington that are all relatively close. The perfect place for a relaxing getaway.
