We're nestled on the edge of Gifford Pinchot National Forest and just a stone's throw from the Little White Salmon River. Close enough to town (16 min to the Hood River bridge), but far enough away to relax and unwind. The home is updated with modern amenities and conveniences but stays true to its historic details and architecture. We're thrilled to set you up with a wonderful and relaxing stay!

Relax in this spacious cabin, only 20 mins from Hood River and 20 mins from Mt Hood. 5 acres, expansive views, open pasture, cedar groves and a glacier-fueled creek. The cabin opens up to a large deck with a Mt. Hood view and Mt. Adams view from the main bedroom. Enjoy the orchards during apple and pear harvest! With a touch of Tolkien, relax in this story book home. Set high upon a dragonfly filled knoll overlooking a pond. Watch the birds, deer,and wild turkeys roam from out the large circular glass moon door. Step outside onto the veranda and take a dip in the wooden barrel hot tub. Stroll the 27-acrewoods and sip tea by the glass mosaic fireplace. Crawl into the cozy bednook and read a book written by JRR Tolkien. Enjoy the silence and the sounds of nature as you've found your fantasy getaway.

Step outside for a walk in the woods or along the river where peace and beauty will surround you. Trails and rivers are all in the backyard! Take an authentic Finnish wood fired sauna with hot water and cold plunge (add as an extra) or gaze at the grand stone fireplace after watching the salmon spawning on the river. Possibilities for local recreation in the gorge also abound.

Enjoy a quiet riverfront stay in the heart of the Hood River Valley. 500 sq ft apartment in a Craftsman timber-frame home with private entrance, parking, kitchenette, shared laundry, and the sound of the river, with some distant traffic noise from Tucker Road. Sit on the porch and relax watching the Hood River. Perfectly located for recreation or wine tasting, 40 mins. to skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows, and 10 to downtown breweries. Rate includes 8% Hood River County room tax. Self check-in.

Treehouse in Stevenson, WA Columbia River Gorge

Aptly named the Osprey Treehouse because of the multiple Osprey that spent the summer hovering and watching us build this 20-foot octagon building around a single grand 42-inch old Douglas Fir. Oversized windows and a sliding door give you the feeling of being high up in the trees. Sleeps 2 adults. For safety reasons, we do not allow pets or children younger than 12. The entrance is level and parking close. The cleaning fee is $50 and applicable taxes are already added to your bill.

Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

The Overlook House with amazing view!

We chose to share our guesthouse primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guesthouse for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guesthouse with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. It has expansive views of Hood River, Mt Hood, and our favorite view, looking directly down the gorge.
