Bonsall has two pubs and a Tea Room a few minutes walk from the property. Bonsall Carnival week starts on the last Saturday of July every year.

Originally three miners cottages, Acacia Cottage boasts three good-sized double bedrooms (one en-suite) and one study/bedroom with a sofabed, plus modern kitchen with gas range, large dining room, sitting room, study and large sunroom.
